Himalaya Gentle Baby Bath comes in plastic flat bottle sealed with flip-top cap. Bottle is opaque white the same labelling as on Himalaya Baby shampoo. Infact the whole packaging is so similar that it becomes difficult to locate the bottle untill you read the label. I think it should have been little different with bright quirky packaging to attract and easy to distinguish between the two.
My kiddo at times avoid soaps as it takes time to rub it on entire body create lather and winter mornings when he is in rush to get ready for school, this gel bath comes to his rescue. I am using Himalaya Baby shampoo since quite long and its still a staple in my hair care. Never ever thought of replacing this with any other for my kid's hair too.
Likewise Himalaya Baby Bath is also a transparent runny gel but with a strong fragrance quite similar to johnsons baby products which is quite irritating (for me) although its a relief that it does not stay longer. Ofcourse like shampoo it is also NO TEAR formula so even your kids enjoys his bath alone-no worries!
As you can see in the ingredients list, the product seems to have all mild agents and with some natural contents too so its safe- no side-effects, irritation, itching etc
It leathers well but not great, just put 3-4 ml of gel on loofah and apply on wet skin. Looking into the amount required you will find that 200 ml of the gel goes long and that too with super affordable tag of 125 INR.
It cleans well without leaving any greasiness or residue. Also I never noticed any flakiness/dryness after bath. It has soothing effect on skin and yes in extreme winters you may need extra hydration to quench your skin's thirst.
Overall Himalaya Gentle Baby Bath is great baby bath with out any harmful ingredients and easy on your pocket too.
