Anti Acne Gel: Tvakh Vs Biotique

The most annoying thing for a skin freak like me....Acne.
I guess this is probably a never ending search where I may not be able to find a complete cure to my deadly cystic acne and these adult acne ...is a pain.
But what i have observed so far is that natural, organic and chemical free treatments works..although a gradual process which takes its own time but it does.
With the new organic natural brands blooming in India, have got ample of chances to try.
So today its not just a brand but a specific concern- yes its Acne. This word ' Acne ' & 'Gel' grabs my attention everytime i am looking for my skincare stuff.
So in a shopping frenzy, I got to grab two of such products but from different brands-
1. Biotique Bio Chlorophyll oil free anti acne gel (199 for 50 gms)
2. Tvakh Magnolia and Chaulmogra oil free anti acne gel(585 for 30 gms)

Ayush from Hindustan Lever; Haul and mini Reviews

Hi All,
its the weekend and I'm back on my blogger desk...whats up today???
its a little about one of my recent hauls. Its from one of the recently launched personal care range from HLL. Its Ayush!! Although AYUSH in India refers to Ministry of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy which recently adopted this name; created in March 1995 and renamed as Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) in November 2003. But Why I wanted to try this- reasons....
firstly its the first AYURVEDIC range from the brand
secondly wanted to check out if its truly Ayurvedic and Organic too???
Also every product has been claimed to have some reliable age old ayurvedic ingredient like turmeric, saffron, Rock salt, Ghee etc and they have made sure to associate each product with one of the known ayurvedic formulations like Nalpamaradi Oil, Kumkumadi oil, Arimedas Oil etc
So HLL also adopted this name to give an ethnic or Indian origin to the brand. so lets see what all i could grab and whats my view about them.

The Nalpamaradi Thailam for your skin- Kairali Ayurvedic

Kairali Nalpamaradi Thailam Review

Hi Girls,
The more I am delving in organic and natural ways of SKin care, more I go close to Oils.  I have oils for every kind of skin care need, be it for face- anti aging, acne or for body, nails and obviously for hairs too.
You can say, my day starts with oils and ends with it and still my hunger to try oils and concoctions is still not satiated.
If you remember how i raved about Eladi Tailam and have been using this since quite long. Firstly it was with Auravedic and Kairali Ayurvedics
This would be my third purchase from Kairali after Facial oil. While repurchasing the Eladi oil from Kairali, came across Nalpamaradi Thailam which is again considered to be one of the most effective formula to combat skin infections and also for brightening and glowing properties. So there was a bottle in my hand !

Price- INR 130 for 200ml of oil.
Can be purchased online here from company website and also available on 1mg.com too.

A special medicated oil prepared exclusively for skin care. The base oil used is Coconut oil, which by nature has several properties to protect and pamper skin. Itching, burning sensation, redness of skin, infections which causes irritations on the skin surface etc are cured with appropriate use of Nalpamaradi Thailam. Apart from being special oil for skin diseases, this particular Thailam serves the purpose of a preventive measure against skin anomalies, if used regularly. Nalpamaradi Thailam is effective against pitha dominated lesions that affect the skin and is also widely used among children.

Hi Everyone,

Today I will be reviewing one of the recent Bath and Body product I have tried from Not-so-popular brand. This is Jasco, company involved in organic products made of Aloe Vera and Gooseberry produced in their farms.

I have previously used their Aloevera Gel and still using their Trifala Juice but not tried any of their skin care products. When I saw the soap at one of the local store, sniffed it and the enchanting lemongrass fragrance was something to try for.
So here is the review of the Soap- Jasco Aloe Vera Bathing Bar- enriched with Lemongrass
Price- 99 INR for 100 gms. Its available on local counters in Indore but you buy them through their site- www.Jasco.in. You can find details of otherv variants available like Shea Butter Soap, Orange Soap, Green Tea Soap but i could not find the same information properly on the site. I tried contacting the company people but could not talk to them.

Facial Oil: Kaircin from Kairali Ayurvedic

Hi All,

While sharing my Great Grand Mother's beauty secrets, my grandmother used to tell that how she used to apply things available in kitchen like butter milk for cleansing and detaning, Ghee for hair massage and Almond oil for skin.
She was very particular about applying ghee/almond oil to skin to keep it healthy and glowing. Later I also started using oils and found how good they are contrary to the usual belief that they may harm oily/acne prone skin. Infact my skin is far better since i have started using oils on face.
I usually keep one or two kinds of facial oils along with several carrier and essential oils for my own DIY's for face oils. I can say i cant think of day going out or sleeping without ,my favourite oils on my face.
So today again i am sharing one of the recent face oil i have tried and tested- it is Kaircin from Kairali Ayurvedics.
If you are following my blog posts, you must have read about Eladi Thaliam from Kairali which became an absolute favourite as body oil. Even I have tried the oil on face too and it worked really well. SO this prompted me to try their Face Oil- Kaircin.

Kaircin Face Oil Review

Price- INR 700 for 10ml. Available online on purplle and the company website.

Kera Eladi Thailam from Kairali Ayurvedic Group

Kera Eladi Thailam from Kairali Ayurvedic Group Review

Hi Girls!
This time it took me quite a long time to get back in blogging mode...Why???
I have many reasons- Firstly was neck deep drowned in my projects and assignments, was away from home intermittantly which was somehow somewhere blocking me and lastly poor old google and its technical troubles!!! In fact i was even planning to switch to other platform but then its not a day's task....phew!!!!

But better late then never...Today I will be reviewing one of products from my raved category- Oils. I love trying Oils- Carrier oils, Essential Oils, face oils, body oils and my #diys. You name it and I have it kind of crazy me......#oiljunkie
This is Kera Eladi Thailam from Kairali Ayurvedic Group- Body oil popular for its anti septic and anti fungal properties.
My first ever Eladi Thailam was from Auravedic and that was something I completely fell in love with. it was like panacea for all my skin troubles. But when I was all done with the Aura Vedic Oil, came to know that its no more available. Probably the brand discontinued...
So all I could do was searching the similar formulation on google. Luckily came across this Kera Eladi Thailam from Kairali Ayurvedic Group and was on cloud nine when found this on purplle.com too. Was available on their website too but then with Purplle it was hassle free reliable and free shipping. Immediately ordered this and got this within next 7-8 days.

Organic Hair Care with Bon Organics: Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner

Hi Everyone,

My Mother used to tell me that Hairs need more care and attention than skin as its equally affected by climatic changes as our skin. But for skin we are usually particular and careful as even a slight change is easily noticeable while for hairs it takes time to show up but meanwhile damage is already done.
I wont say that I did not cared but then over a period of time, I realised that Organic and Herbal formulations are usually better. Obviously they are free of chemicals and hence irrepairable damage can be avoided.
Recently when saw several good reviews about a brand from several users on Insta, immediately grabbed my most wanted, hair care products. I am talking about - +Bon Organics, Which means 'good' for everyone.

While in conditioner- Aloe Vera and Herbal. I purchased
1. Herbal Shampoo (126 INR and 246 INR for 100gms and 200gms resp)

Kama Ayurveda Haul from Nykaa and Rose Jasmine Face Cleanser Review

Kama Ayurveda Haul from Nykaa.com

I have been a lover of herbal and ayurvedic preparations for beauty and skin care. Love for herbs made me try herbs and Essential oil DIY's. But gradually my love has been transformed to obsession with recent addition of Organic formulations...The more i tried organic products, more I love and crave for them.
Last month during Nykaa Sale, I have placed several orders. One of my recent order was from Kama Ayurveda. I was initially placing order at the company website but then at Nykaa they were offering a Nykaa pouch with the order so that changed my mind. So all what I bought was-
1. Kama Ayurveda Rose Jasmine Face Cleanser
2. Kama Ayurveda Rejuvenating and Brightening Ayurvedic Night Cream
3. Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Brightening Face Scrub
In addition, I got A set of Freebies from the Brand  and a Nykaa Pouch.

Starting with the Nykaa Pouch, this a golden weave pouch which was ultra chic at first look and had those tiny Kama Ayurveda freebies in it. Its big enough to carry essential beauty minis during travel but then its meant for parties. The biggest disappointment- quality!
