Well! Coming back from my contemplating zone(referring to my last post). Today i am sharing my views on Biotique Botanicals Bio Dandelion Ageless Lightening Serum..for every skin regime every day from +Biotique.

Biotique is one of the well known brands for its organic ayurvedic therapy based products. its offers a notable line of products for skin and hair care in India.

Product Description-

This lightening serum is a rare combination of pure dandelion, rich in Vitamin E and minerals, blended with nutmeg oil. Used regularly, it helps brighten skin, fade dark spots and ease away wrinkles for a flawless complexion.

Key Ingredients-

Bihidana (Pyrus cydonia), Halon (Chansaur) Lepidium sativum), Jaiphal (Myristica Fragrans), Badam tail (Prunus amygdalus), Surajmukhi (Helianthus annuus), Khamir (Sacchromyces), Doodhal (Taraxacum officianle), Ground nut Oil, Hlmalyan Water Q.S.

Product Packaging- 

Simple and sturdy; Comes in opaque white plastic bottle with a green screw cap, packed in a beige-green carton with all product info printed on it. I would have preferred a pump dispenser as it easy to pull out and hygienic too.

Price and Quantity- 

You need to pay 199 INR and 620 INR for 35 ml and 190 ml resp. Quite inexpensive as compared to the counterparts.

Texture and Fragrance- 

its is water based, more of a thick colloid with a mix of gel and oils, opaque white and has a prominent smell of nutmeg which i loved. Although it does not linger for long and fades away soon after few minutes application. 

My Take- 

Placed in Anti- Ageing category of serums, its not a usual runny liquid serum but actually a lotion with a gel base which gets easily absorbed on the skin. Just apply it on damp skin and its gone! i am about to finish the bottle and found that this gave a subtle glow on my face. I usually apply it day & night after cleansing. Just a pea size amount is enough to cover the face. 
But my acne prone skin with little dark spots, i did not find any major improvement, neither in reducing or preventing acne nor with lightening of dark spots. Rather i had break outs followed by every use of this serum (i discontinued and used it in after intervals to make sure if the break outs are result of using this).Wrinkles & fines lines...i have few lines on my forehead but could not find any improvement either.

Probably being an ayurvedic product, it may give very slow and gradual results so you need to empty 2-3 bottles, i guess.

So overall an Biotique Botanicals Bio Dandelion Ageless Lightening Serum is an OK product and would suit people with dry or normal skin. For skin problems, you cant expect miraculous or immediate results. People with oily to combination should skip this.
