My Last post must have given a pretty fair idea about this coming post- Obviously I will be reviewing one of the most popular products from +Kama Ayurveda. It is Kama Ayurveda Rejuvenating and Brightening Night Cream.

The Kama Ayurveda Rejuvenating and Brightening Night Cream is all about edgy, classy and vintage packaging; cream coloured carton box with intricate designs in gold-beige and details about the product on its back. The cream is stored is a dark glass tub sealed with screw cap and also has wooden spatula to scoop out the product. So you dont have to dip your fingers to pick the cream. This is sufficient enough to impress you with the look. But this being heavy glass one can not be carried during travel. so here the sample mini tube comes handy!!
Kama Ayurveda Rejuvenating and Brightening Night Cream Review

Talking about Ingredients- Aqua, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Phenyltrimethicone, D-Panthenol, Xanthum Gum, Edta, Vetiveria Extract, Symplocos Racemosa Extract, Shorea Robusta Leaf Extract, Sesame Indicum Seed Oil, Saffron Flower Extract, Phenoxythanol, Myristica Fragrance Extract, Monocorea Vaginalis Extract, Mesua ferrea Flower Extract, Lotus FLower Powder, Liquorice Root Powder, Cocos Nucifera Fruit Extract, Cinnamonum Zeylanicum Bark Extract, Cedrus Deodara Wood Extract, Elettaria Cardamomum Seed Powder, Caprae Lac (goats milk), Callicapra Macrophylla Flower Extract, Caesalpinia Sappan Stem Powder, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Allantoin.
The ingredient list shows lots of synthetic ingredients- has silicones and Alcohols as major ingredients. People like me who are trying to be more into organic and natural products would be surely disappointed.
Opening the Tub, I could see mild sweet smelling thick cream, somewhat similar to thicker version of condensed milk. I was not sure if it would suit my super oily skin. So all what i did- After cleaning my face with Rose Jasmine Cleanser, tapping dry with towel & spraying rose-mogra water and then applying the Kama Ayurveda Rejuvenating and Brightening Night Cream. Just scoop out a little cream with the given spatula and apply with the same on your face, just a big pea size is enough to cover the face. Massage a little with light hand movements.
To my surprise the cream sinks within few minutes of application, I can feel the smooth and velvettyness but was waiting to see my face next morning. My face was plump and hydrated next morning. I followed the regime and still doing the same and its been a month now.
All what I could see-
1. Skin texture improvement- smooth and clearer skin
2. Dark Marks/blemishes reduced (probably the second thing after Kumkumadi oil to work on my pigmentation)
3. reduced pore size
3. Something unexpected- reduction in white heads and my occasional break outs were all dried out.
Honestly I was not expecting such impressive results moreover I tried this above my favourite Khandige Kumkumadi Oil and the results were again better and improved. You may check out my Instagram posts for the evidence. My Clear glowing skin sans any makeup!!
Very Dry skin people may not find this very nourishing instead as I get dry patches on my cheek during winters and i needed extra apart from this cream to treat the dry patches.

Overall Kama Ayurveda Rejuvenating and Brightening Night Cream is a great Night treatment for all skin types and surely lives upto the claims. Highly Recommended!
My Rating- 4.5/5 (for silicones and alcohol)
But do you have better Day and Night creams recommendations which are natural/organic sans any chemicals???
