2016 was a year where I had experimented a lot with enormous skin care and makeup products although I play safe. I mean, I was trying to avoid heavy makeup products and try avoiding chemical laden skin care. So it was a full round of hits and misses.
But meanwhile some has earned good scores on my chart and has been repurchased at times.
lets see some of them (as I could probably not summarise all in a post)-
1. Makeup Revolution Salvation Eye Shadow Palette- What you waiting for
I am using this palette every day I am out for a causal or a party outing. its a must have with a balance of mattes and shimmers. Read full review here.
2. Clean and Clear Oil Free Moisturiser- This is also an water based moisturiser, light weight and easy to absorb. Suits my skin and Salicylic acid as ingredient makes it apt for acne prone skin, Easy to carry tube packing makes it a bag essential. Highly Recommended.
3. Oriflame Sweden Volume Build Mascara- This is probably one of the best mascara which creates amazing volume and thickness and lashes look dense and attractive with just two full strokes. Loving it so much. Great for party /wedding makeup.
4. Colorbar I-Glide Eye Pencil in Amethyst Spark- Currently loving this shimmery/metallic purple liner for my eyes. Some thing different from regular blue/green liners. Highly Recommended! Read Full Review Here.
5. LA Girl Pro Concealer- Wow, since the day I've used it, going gaga for this. Perfect concealer which gives ultimate coverage without any creasing. Even if you do not want heavy base or foundation, this would give perfect coverage even with a light base like BB cream. Will give great pics too. Highly Recommended! Read full review here.
6. Garnier BB Cream- I am using this BB cream since the day it was launched and still cant get over it. The best BB cream to give a light weight sheer & dewy finish. Perfect shade to match indian skin tone. Love it for every day wear.
7. Faces CC Cream- This si something to give a matte finish and a little more coverage than Garnier BB cream. If you want a better daily cream for your oily skin, go for this. Not heavy on face and pocket either. Yet to put a full review.
8. Aura Vedic Eladi Thailam- One of the best multi purpose oils for your face and body. it has been extremely effective in curing skin infections, dryness etc. Use it as serum , massage oil, pre bath oil or just spot treatment for skin infections, it works. Read full review here.
9. Tea Tree Oil and Geranium Oil- Tea Tree Oil is something to take care of my skin issues and Gernium oil to soothe and nourish my skin. I love the geranium oil fragrance, its extremely invigorating and captivating. I use these oils in my face packs, diy serums-oils and add with lotions and creams too for a better skin texture, glow and anti ageing effects. Currently using Tea tree oil from Aroma Treasures and Geranium Oil from Imli Street. Cant stay without these.
10. Fabindia Perfume Oil- Wild Rose- Immensely in love with this heavenly smelling rose oil. Just apply it on pulse points and it lingers on. The fresh, delightful and mild fragrance pampers your senses without even reaching others. Highly Recommended! Read Full review here.
11. Just Herbs Fair'e Skin brightening gel- This is also great organic formulation from Just herbs to keep your skin bright, plump and glowy. Use it as night treatment or for a gentle weekend massage, it works. Consistent usage may even help with blemishes. Read full review here.

15. Studio Voylla Jewels- Kutch Collection- I am a hoarder when its about ethnic jewellery. Recently purchased several pieces from several sites and vendors but Studio Voylla, hands down, was the best. The collection & design is unique, ample of variety and even the price tag is impressive.
