The climate for past few months was quite weird at my place and while waiting for winters i was struggling with my breakouts. I got a whole new lot of face washes to try and Aroma Magic Neem and Tea tree Face Wash- Acne Control & Oil Balancing was one i was eager to try. i was tempted to try as i read- Tea Tree on its label and when i opened the cap- it smelt very nice. The product as it says is meant for oily acne prone skin so i had to try this.
Key Ingredients- as you can see long list of ingredients like tea tree oil, neem extract, lavender oil with of course mild surfactant like lauryl glucoside.
Along with usage directions, they have mentioned essential use of Sunscreen.
The Aroma Magic Neem and Tea tree - Acne Control & Oil Balancing face wash comes in tube with a pretty packaging in green and pink. it looks really cool with pink flowers printed on the green base. Its sturdy and travel safe with its flip cap.
Face wash is green gel with amazing fragrance of tea tree combined with lavender. I loved the fragrance, its so soothing and refreshing.
Cleansing- it cleans OK without drying the skin but when your face is sticky with dirt & oil or if you are trying to remove makeup, it would leave little residue on your face. For its Acne control and Oil balancing claims, it hardly did anything of the kind for my acne prone & oily skin. My acne were same as before and also i had to use another face wash to remove the sticky grime from my face. Also i have few acne scars on my forehead and cheeks in which i did not find even slight signs of fading.
In fact i had some major break outs and acne on my cheeks but it didn't help. I have finished the tube and it took me this much time to conclude that this wont work for me- atleast!
Overall Aroma Magic Neem and Tea tree Face Wash- Acne Control & Oil Balancing is something which could not live upto its claims of acne control or oil balancing and also did not worked even as good cleanser. Its better to skip if you have acne prone & oily skin like me.
