Gravitale!...skin care from Blue Mountain Vineyards-Revitalizing Skin Gel

Ten years ago, we acquired land in the heart of one of the most pristine places in the world – the Blue Mountains (Niligiris) of South India. We had the beginnings of a dream – one inspired by the beauty and nature surrounding us – to create something inimitable, born out of the Blue Mountains and, if our experiment proved successful, take it to the world.

This vision led -Advika Kumari to present a revolutionary product in skin care harnessing age old indian philosophy and vinotherapy. Yes, i am talking about GRAVITALE
It has recently ventured in Indian market and available on Purplle.com.

Gravitale Revitalizing Skin Gel Review
Today i will be reviewing its first ever product- Gravitale Revitalizing Skin Gel
A jelly-like, multipurpose exfoliant with actual crushed grapes – skins and seeds included – and without any granules or harsh scrubbing particles. “one and done” product that exfoliates, nourishes, brightens, soothes, hydrates, tightens, softens, and improves skin metabolism all at once, with minimal effort on your part.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE GEL
In Vitro Efficacy Tested
5.4x more phenolic antioxidant content in our topical grade grapes
As compared to other commercial varietals of grapes used for food or wine.
77% improvement in free radical scavenging
Antioxidants in grapes help neutralize free radicals, protecting the skin from premature aging.
42% increase in collagen synthesis
Collagen prevents sagging, reduces wrinkles, and increases skin firmness.
67% retention rate of moisture in skin
The enzyme hyaluronidase, which breaks down collagen and is responsible for premature wrinkling, sagging, and dryness, is inhibited.

Price- 449 INR for 50 gms tube.
Available on - Purplle and Amazon

Packaging- The tube is all in hues of blues-white indicative of its ingredients with image of grapevine and bunch and details at the back. Its a squeeze tube secured with a flip cap so no hassles of leakage etc.

Ingredients- Vitis Vinifera Extract, Aqua, Decyl Glucoside, Glycerol, Xanthum Gum, C1215 Alkyl Benzoate, Maltoolygosyl Glucoside, Hydrogentaed Starch Hydrolysate, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Benzyl Alochol, Curcuma Longa (turmeric), Cymbopogogon Citratus (lemongrass), Seasmum Indicum(sesame or til), Syzygium Aromaticum (clove), Ascorbic Acid, Salicylic Acid.
NO Parabens, Sulfates, Soap, Petroleum Derivatives and Animal Origin derivatives.

Product- Its a thick brown gel with bits and pieces of grape peel and seeds which you can easily feel although its not gritty or harsh. if you have ever tasted lemon pickle or chutney, it smells exactly like that- citrusy smell which probably many people may not like. But then the company make sure not add any filler or chemical content so fragrance too is avoided. This is infact appreciable!
How I use it- I usually wash my face with my charcoal cleanser or wet my face with a face mist. The gel easily spreads on wet skin (as instructed on tube) and leave it on my face for 10-15 mins (which i usually do). I did not find any tingling, as was mentioned on site in product details but sensitive skins may try a patch test first. I guess this would suit almost all types of skin.
It wont dry up or get absorbed rather massage the gel with wet hands, it would lather a little  like a face wash and this would rather help in massaging your face well. 5-10 mins of massage would warm you up face helping in proper absorption of product as it massaging enhances blood flow and opens pores for better cleansing. Its a mild exfoliant which would help you get rid of dirt and dead cells along with pigmentation.
Wash it with plain cold water.
I had ordered this from purplle during June and since then I have been using it once or twice in a fortnight and every time I found my clean glowing skin back. Not only I was glowing for continuous 2-3 days but i could feel that my skin is breathing. Obviously NO side effects! In fact I feel the vitamin C and salicylic acid content helps in controlling acne or break outs.
Also its moisture retention property kept my skin plumped and hydrated.
This gel has high antioxidant content and collagen building properties which is probably not visible that soon but looking into the potent ingredients and its immediate effects, i am sure of that too.
Tip-you can replace this with your massage gel or cream and scrub too while doing facial. You may follow it up with gel or clay mask depending on your skin type This would give amazing results.

Overall Gravitale Revitalising Gel is one of the best products I have tried and even looking forward to try their next launch- Anti Oxidant Moisturiser. if You love gels in skin care and looking for a multitasking product, this is one. This has definitely secured a permanent place in my shelf. Highly Recommended!
My Rating- 5/5
