The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Shampoo

Reading the title you might have got it...its The Body Shop day today. 

If you have read last few posts, I had discussed how I got my TBS Rainforest Conditioner accidently and how I missed ordering the TBS Rainforest Shampoo. 

The Body Shop, obviously need no introduction but still if you are new to this, let me tell you TBS is an international skincare and cosmetics brand started by Anita Roddick which was later purchased by Loreal, known for its vegan beauty products made from all natural ingredients sourced from community trade with a strong commitment towards protecting the planet and standing firm against animal testing. 

So today when I am over with my TBS Rainforest Moisture Shampoo, guess its right time to present my views- 

Price- 790 INR for 250 ml of shampoo. Available on company site, nykaa and Amazon.

I purchased it from outlet at Indore, a little haul. 

Packaging- As always sturdy and simple packaging like other TBS products. Transparent plastic bottle with a flip top cap with details on label. Easy to dispense the intended quantity.

Ingredients- Water, Sucrose, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Lauryl Betaine, Laureth-5 CarboxylicAcid, Honey, PEG-55 Propylene Glycol Oleate, Prolylene Glycol, Sodium Chloride, Glycerin, Fragrance, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Sodium Benzoate, Sucrose Laurate, Isopropyl Alchohol, Polyquaternium-6, Salicylic Acid, Citric Acid, Schinziophyton Kautanenii Kernel Oil, Pentaclethra Macroloba Seed Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Tocopherol

free from Sulphates, Parabens and other chemicals.

The Rainforest Range from The Body Shop has a long list of products for various types of targeted hair needs Like Rainforest SHine, Rainforest Volume, Rainforest Radiance but I picked Rainforest Moisture which was specifically meant for Dry hairs.

The Body Shop Rainforest range has a unique but a pleasant fragrance...infact i loved it.

The shampoo is runny dark brown liquid which gives good leather even on preoiled hairs. You will find pleasant smelling, bouncy, clean hairs every time and obviously its not dry and frizzy but then super dry frizzy hair like mine needs conditioner and additional taming products too. 

What i liked about the shampoo is that its cleans well and also does not add to hairfall or messing up the hair every wash which was a major concern while washing hairs with chemical free/silicone free shampoos. Use it with the conditioner/Hair butter from the range and its works amazingly well. I get my bouncy curly hairs back after every wash.

Note - But if compared to other Curl boosting Frizz taming shampoos sans chemicals, I would suggest Yves Rocher Bouncy Curls treatment shampoo instead of this. I would also be doing the same.

Overall The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Shampoo is a great try and really works well on dry to frizzy hairs. Highly Recommended!
