Make-up is all about- Making your self, your face a little more presentable and attractive. It has been essential part of women's grooming since ages and that does not mean using multiple products, lotions, potions but a single stroke of Kajal could even highlight your prominent feature-Eyes, single swipe of light blush does ALL for your face. It depends what you opt to do.
My favorite has always been khols and Kajals. Applying Mosituriser, Sunscreen and nice Khol rimmed eyes and i am done.
Today i am about to review one of my latest Favorites - Lakme 9to5 GLIDE ON Eye Color in Metallic black.
My first Lakme Pencil was a khol pencil when it was first introduced in the market. Then i got my first retractable Kajal from Lakme and after a Long....came its turn back. This time i was excited to find a new shade - Metallic Black. I swatched several shades at the counter and this one of the few shades i was sure to go for.

Packaging- Black colored (outer color) pencil ornated with gold with Transparent cap. it is a pencil hence needs sharpening but has a good grip. Cap with these pencils is always an issue as they do not have any locking system so they do not stay. Need to be careful while keeping in purse.
Color, Pigmentation and Texture- it is a greyish black pencil with pearly shimmers and has an amazing pigmentation. it is buttery soft and truly Glides on your lid. Well pigmented and you need 1-2 swipes to get a perfect look.
My Take-
I instantly fell for the color but when applied on my lids, it was awesome. Added brightness to my eyes. Combined with Eye shadows, it looked well. Stays really long on my oily lids even. When applied on waterline, it actually was kind of OK for me. Was not that impressive as was on lids. But it dries fast and also no irritation on waterline even. Yes it neither smudges to give you panda eyes nor washes off easily with water. I had to use a remover to properly remove it.
The color and finish is something you can use anywhere and for any occasion. Pearly shine is not OTT to look odd. Infact this metallic finish adds to the omph factor it imparts to your eyes.
Overall Very pretty shade with amazing staying power & pigmentation. Highly Recommended!
