A black khol eye liner is something I cant survive without but colored ones has brought a revolution, especially for people like me who loves playing with khols than putting whole lot of eye shadows on the lid. Moreover its easy too, isn't it?

Soft creme formula that lines and defines without pulling or tugging. Comes with a smudger for a smooth blend.
The Khol Liner is available in 2 shades- Turquoise Waters and Ocean Blue. Both the shades were pretty and alluring but i went for Ocean blue since i already have a nice turquoise - Maybelline pencil with me.

The khol liner is a normal wooden black pencil with blue stripe at end to locate the color of the pencil. it needs sharpening but comes with a smudger for a smooth smoky or smudged effect. The smudger is a rubber one which is easy to wash as it does not get tainted like sponge smudgers.
Color is nice electric blue with good pigmentation. The color brightens your eye and adds a pop of color to your attire. Smudging would give a soft effect and can add dimension with a second colour or for that smoky effect. Application is easy with pencil being very soft & smooth ; a single swipe would work and you don't need to pull hard for a proper colour payoff.
Without primer it stays for a max of 4-5 hours on my oily lids (provided you are not in habit of rubbing your eyes like me). But stays pretty long for more than 6 hours with a base or primer. The texture being soft & buttery spreads well but gets patchy if wish to cover the lid and hence needs to work a little for an even effect.
Also the khol is not waterproof so easily gets faded & washes away with plain water or even if you are sweating. I have tried this on my waterline where i did not find any itchiness or reaction. it was visibly good till a max of 4 hours after which it needs a touch up.
Overall a AVON Khol eye liner has pretty colour & pigmentation but i would still go for sturdy retractable water resistant ones.
